Coaching in BC Schools

General Information

BCSS and the Coaches Association of Canada have developed a "Coaching in BC Schools" module. This workshop will provide teacher-coaches and community-coaches the special skill set they need to coach effectively in the school environment. The course will cover the NCCP's five core competencies: problem solving, valuing, critical thinking, leading and interacting. This module provides professional development points towards remaining active in the new NCCP system.

Resources

Canadian Sport for Life CS4L is a movement to improve the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada.  CS4L links sport, education, recreation and health and aligns community, provincial and national programming.
