Coaching in BC Schools Workshop

BC School Sports is pleased to offer this workshop for parents, community coaches, and new teacher coaches. This workshop will help prospective coaches develop NCCP's five core competencies:  problem solving, valuing, critical thinking, leading and interacting. The module covers topics such as: Canadian Sport for Life, NCCP system, coaching philosophy, community vs school sports, ethics, safety, BCSS rules and regulations, as well as school/district policies. Completion of this course provides NCCP Professional Development points for the maintenance of certification.
