BC School Sports offers scholarship opportunities to graduating student-athletes across the province who demonstrate both exceptional athletic and academic achievements, and community service. Our ogranization is dedicated to assisting worthy student-athletes in their desire to attend an accredited Canadian University or College.
In the 2022-23 school year, BCSS offered the following scholarships:
- Dave Gifford Memorial Scholarship (2 x $1500) - awarded to 1 male and 1 female student-athlete
- BCSS Zone Scholarships (18 x $750) - awarded to 1 male and 1 female student-athlete in each of the 9 zones
- Bert & Greta Quartermaine Badminton Scholarship (6 x $1000) - awarded to the six most worthy candidates (a minimum of two males and two females) enrolled in member schools who apply, and who meet all of the criteria.
- BCSS Indigenous Student-Athlete Scholarship - awarded to 1 male and 1 female indigenous student-athlete
The full Scholarship Application Package for the 2023-24 school year will be available in March 2024. Deadline for submissions is May 3rd, 2024 at 4PM.
